Cheapest Breakfast Special in Pattaya? Only 78 baht

There are a few full breakfast options in Pattaya for 99 baht (USD $3) which is an extraordinary deal. But there’s a hidden option that may be the best value in town depending on your appetite. Diners Express, nestled inside the Villa Market grocery store on 2nd Road, offers an American breakfast for only 78 baht if you arrive before 11 am (it’s still only 98 baht thereafter).

It’s not the largest breakfast in its price range (that award goes to Nicky’s on Buakhao), but despite the sign saying you can’t do it, you can supplement it with outside items purchased in Villa Market or elsewhere. Comes with toast, 2 eggs any style, choice of sausage, ham or English-style bacon, coffee or tea, and juice. The Greek yogurt in the photo is courtesy of a friend who brings his own (none of the staff mind, and he’s been eating there daily for some time).

The American Breakfast options and prices:

Diners Express is quite casual and abuts the shopping aisles of Villa Market. I enjoy the aircon. There’s a second restaurant inside Villa Market closer to the front entrance which, I was told by some friendly Canadians, has healthier breakfast options (for your Avocado Toast-loving friends).

English Breakfast is available at a higher cost (128 baht) which makes it more expensive than the 99 baht specials around town but cheaper than Witherspoon’s.
